Well, from May 7th, until sometime just before the wedding, I'm going to be by myself in Fredericton. :( Marc's first day with his summer position is May 7th, so I will drive him down the weekend before. I guess I'll have to replace the void with shoes. ;)

Well, I haven't posted here for a while because I have a new addition- Facebook. I'm generally on there 7 times a day, checking for new friend invites and the like. I've also been dealing with a lot of stress lately too. This whole wedding planning from another province thing is actually quite difficult. Having to make special trips down for events, and to go book vendors can be a royal pain in the ass. Especially when you want to get a bunch of stuff done, and you don't have enough time to do it all in. This past weekend, we got some of the bigger stuff done, like the cake, limo, invites, and our wedding bands (which wasn't planned for). But I wanted to try talking to some shops about flowers, and I also wanted to get some lingerie to wear under my wedding dress, I also wanted to take the invitations home with me, but they weren't ready, and actually relax, which I feel like I haven't been able to do in weeks. I feel like my parents are always on my case about money, and how we have none, and that they aren't made of it, so I can't have everything I want for the wedding. It doesn't feel good when you are told that you have to go with whatever the hotel is offering, when none of it will go. Especially when you aren't even given the opportunity to find out how much extra they would cost. I ended up getting it worked out in my favour, but it makes me feel bad inside to want to ask for anything more. I ended up taking yesterday off of work, just to relax, because the stress of everything was really getting to me. I just want it to be over, so I don't have to worry anymore...

We finally have a Wii!! They are so much fun, and I'm so incredibly happy about getting it. They are a bitch to find, especially when my one good source (work) won't allow any staff to purchase them!! >:( But they finally raffled one off for a staff member to purchase, and our friend Jeremy was drawn to buy it. So he did, and then he turned around and sold it to us! Jeremy, I owe you like a million cookies dude, you made my week! Wii Sports is a lot of fun, especially now that we have two controllers. And yesterday we also bought Warioware Smooth Moves! It's way better then the GC version!! You have to hold the remote in your hand in different ways, like holding it upright in what they call the "umbrella", or there's "tug of war" where you grip the controller like rope, or "the sketch artist" where you hold it like a pen and try and write or draw or trace out an object! There's a mini game too where you have to use the remote and stick an old ladie's false teeth back in her mouth! We'll have to bring it to Hali next time we come to show every one. We also bought the Burning Crusade Expansion for World of Warcraft, and that looks very promising once I can get high enough in level to take advantage of all the new maps and features. So I will be very vusy over the next little while with video games and the wedding!! Hooray!!!! :D

It's getting close to where we will really need to start working on the wedding plans!! 7 months from today!! Hooray!! I'm sooo excited!! :D

Well, Christmas was good this year. :) We got to go back to Hali for the weekend (sorry for all those we missed) and spend the holidays with Marc's family! It was a great time. We actually got to spend some time with Ryan and Michelle, which we rarely do, and have a wonderful lobster dinner on Christmas eve! And Santa even made an appearance in church. :) Hooray for Santa! Marc's grandma was up from Pubnico so we even got to see her too, and we haven't seen her since Michelle and Ryan's wedding. It's very difficult to type with a kitty on your hand...But he's too cute to kick off. :) We drove home on the 26th, and man was it shitty out... Blarg freezing rain and snow... :P But we made it home alright, and that's the main thing. The 27th was a bitch though... 12 hour shifts for all (but Marc worked all day), and for the first couple of hours it was nothing but pure insanity. I am thankful I wasn't working customer service this year so I didn't have to deal with any dick heads really. Hey if there are any dick heads reading this, YOU DO NOT TRY TO RETURN ANYTHING UNTIL 2 DAYS AFTER BOXING DAY!!! DO NOT TRY TO RETURN DURING A BIG ASS SALE!! You are dumb, that is all. You are also an idiot if you come in to see if we have any door crashers available in the late afternoon. If you want it, wake up early and stand out in the cold with the rest of the people. :P I wish we could kick people in the shins when they ask a stupid question. I did manage to partake on some of oir crazy deals though and I bought Marc his own nintendo DS (I've wanted mine back for a while but he kept stealing it) and we also bought a brand new 19" Samsung LCD monitor! :) I've wanted a newer and bigger monitor for a while. This thing is awesome!! I even managed to go to the mall and buy the TMNT trilogy cheap from HMV, and bought myself a really cool new DS game called Cooking Mama. It is soooo much fun!! You use the stylus to stir, chop, knead, flip a frying pan, well, practically everything!! It won an award at E3 this year too. :) Well, I am dead tired, and need some well deserved rest...

PS. If any one is doing anything in Fred for New Year's eve, let me know! I want to do something!! Family Guy trivia and booze any one?? Or any other board games?? ;)

I just figured I'd write this after reading about, and hearing the song "Canadian Idiot" by Weird Al. Give it a rest people, it's a PARODY!! He was making fun of people's lack of knowledge of Canada. There is no need for everyone to take this the wrong way and get their long johns in a knot. Honestly, how many Canadians do you know that eat donuts and moose meat? I can't remember the last time I had moose meat. And what normal kid doesn't like KD?!? I personally thought the song was amusing, and some people take things too literally some times. All I have to say is lighten up, it's just a song.

Marc is making me listen to Weird Al's "Trapped in the Drive-Thru Part 1", and it is totally us at most meals... I can't stop Roflol!! XD

Yay! Mike D and Mike L both came up to visit this weekend, and it was a blast! :) I'm so proud of myself, I made a big turkey dinner and apple pie for them. :) We hung out here and played video games, and also went to Dooly's and played pool. :) It's nice to have friends come up to visit us every once in a while since it's hard for us to go back there and visit all the time. Fredericton tends to get lonely, when you don't know too many people, or have that many good friends here to hang out with. Marc's now getting busier with school with a couple of major papers due soon and his exams all coming up too... So I'm being left alone to my own devices more often. At least I have WoW to keep me occupied... I wish we could come back to Halifax more often too, better shopping down there and also all of our friends and family. :) But then we could also do some more wedding planning. I kind of feel stuck up here with the wedding planning when all the vendors are in Halifax, and I can never really get down there to meet with them. I don't want to leave anything to the last minute in case we forget something, but what choice do I really have?

OMG I didn't realize I would be in this much pain!! My mouth fucking hurts andI can barely eat anything right now... This sucks. I didn't remember braces hurting this much before... All I can eat right now is oatmeal, and soup. Or anything else that's pure mush... hmm... I wonder if baby food actually tastes good... probably not. :P I just hope my teeth are feeling better for Saturday!! I would hate to go to steve and toni's wedding and not be able to eat anything! Plus Thanksgiving Dinner is on Sunday!! I may just have to invent a new king of smoothie... A Thanksgiving smoothie!! :) It would most likely be made up of turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, and stuffing all thrown into a blender and pureed until it could be drunk. yum yum. err... maybe not. Who knows though, I may be bold enough (or mindless enough) to try such a concoction if my mouth isn't better by then!! At least then I can still enjoy the yummy turkey dinner that Marc's mom is going to make. I can't wait to come back to Hali. We leave tomorrow afternoon since I got the day off work now!! Yay!! 4 Day weekend!! Woot!! We'll have to get in touch with every one when we get in town. I'm also looking forward to seeing everyone at Jamie and Candices place sunday night!

Well, it's official. We're out of options next weekend, and have to bring the kitties to Halifax next weekend. We couldn't find any one that is free to look after them while we go away. I hope the trip won't be too traumatizing for them... At least I won't have to miss my babies for the weekend!! ;)

Well, as my subject line states, we bought a new computer!! God bless the Future Shop Card, and wicked clearance deals. If it wasn't for either of those we wouldn't have been able to afford it. Our old computer seems to have been giving us troubles lately with a lot of lag and problems booting down, but not any more!! This one is an HP media center, and it is PIMP! It even has a built in PVR, so we can watch TV on our computer, and pause it too if we have to! And I can finally tape off my fave shows that I miss when I get stuck at work late!! Now I just have to load everything back on it again... Oh well, with a 300 GB harddrive, I know I won't run out of space this time! :D Marc and I are also both looking forward to our trip to Halifax in a week and a half. I will have my braces on by that point, and hopefully my mouth isn't too sore to eat a big turkey dinner. On a sad note, Marc lost his watch the other night, and is quite upset about it. He really liked that watch, and I wish I could afford to buy him a nice new one, but with the new computer, I can't really afford to spend anything... I have a few ideas of what to do for him until I can get him that nice shiny one he deserves, so hopefully I can work something out.

Well, I'm off for now, I still have to reinstall all the good shit on this bad boy!! ;)

I got the best news ever today, I am going to be an entertainment associate again as of October First!!!!!!!!! Yippee!!!!! :D I am so glad to be escaping the black hole known as customer service. When I move, I'll also be training to take over Carol's position as Entertainment Coordinator, so I could one day be quasi-management!! Woo Hoo!! That just really brightened my outlook on the next two years here in Fredericton. Now I'm not going to dread work so much. Although now I will have to work weekends, which kinda sucks... but I can live with that. 2 weeks from Tuesday is now known as B-Day for me... October 3rd, I get my lovely new braces put on, and I don't know whether to be happy, or if I should cry about it. This is something I've wanted to do for years, and now that it's a reality for me, I'm realizing old fears. Are people still immature enough to tease me and call me metal mouth again? I know I'll most likely be seen as younger in people's eyes with them on too, so I may be getting id'd more often, but that one I can live with. I just don't think I can go through the teasing and ridicule I had to put up with back in the dreaded days of Grade 8. I doubt people are that immature, but hey, you never know... I just can't wait to have normal teeth. :)

I am shocked and somewhat heartbroken... I can't believe that Steve Irwin is dead...

I forgot to mention, if any one wants to see a pic of my wedding dress, I have it posted on my hi5 site since Marc doesn't really have access to it there. It's araylia.hi5.com if any one wants to see it! :) It's not the best quality shot and you can't see all the detail, but it's the best I have for now since I'm cameraless..

My poor little camera died this weekend... So now I will be pictureless for the next little while!! :( I never really realized how much I used my camera until it's gone, and I prolly won't have it back for steve and toni's wedding!! :( I'll just keep my fingers crossed about that... But on the brighter side of that, if they can't fix my camera, we'll get a brand new one!! :) And we can upgrade... *drools* I want to get the new Canon S3IS, it's 6 megapixels, 12X optical zoom, optical image stabilizer, and somer really cool features that are relatively new to their cameras!! Hooray!! So in a way I'm hoping that they can't fix it or it's too expensive so that way I can get my exchange!! :D
